While this may seem like a lofty goal, Paige has always performed a cut above the competition. By her 22nd birthday, she had modeled in New York for Elite, graduated from the University of Southern California, won the Miss California Crown, competed in the Miss America Pageant and established a modeling career. But when the pressure to achieve the “waif” look took her to unhealthy extremes, Paige sought treatment for anorexia nervosa.

After recovering physically, she resumed work and was booked as the fit model for a jeans manufacturer. During the fit sessions, Paige’s proportions were met with appreciation and she was lauded as “the perfect body for jeans fitting.” The positive reinforcement had a profound effect on her self-esteem. “It enabled me to maintain health eating habits and feel confident about my body,” she says.

She gained experience and knowledge in the industry, and her denim clients began valuing her for more than physical assets, she became a fit expert. While most models stood mute as mannequins during fit sessions, Paige contributed feedback—about the fit, fabric and hardware—that improved the design of jeans and made her the most-requested fit model for brands like Lucky, Seven, Citizens of Humanity, True Religion, Hard Tail, Joe’s, Dickie’s, Guess, Blue Cult and more.

Paige has now channeled her insight into Paige Denim, PPD for men, Paige Petites and Paige Maternity. With celebrity clients such as Gisele Bundchen, Cameron Diaz, Penelope Cruz and more - Paige’s jeans have been lauded for slimming the hips, lengthening the legs and lifting the derriere.

Proceeds from designated designs go to benefit RAINN and NEDA (causes close to Paige’s heart), where she sits on both advisory boards.
